Bali Wrap-Up

Simon arrived Wednesday night so the final days of our trip were all about family, food, last holiday massages and a little friendly competition. After plenty of near misses, Bryan finally managed to beat Simon on the golf simulator — a victory that may be mentioned for years to come!

Our last night was spent watching the sunset on the beach. A friendly Sydney based Tongan who grew up in the Hutt befriended us. Before long he had Tony, Simon and Bryan joining in with a haka, much to our amusement. Dinner overlooking the beach was the perfect way to wrap up the trip. The father-and-son duo also made the most of the 2-for-1 cocktails, which certainly contributed to a very entertaining trip home!

Now it’s time to swap holiday mode for home mode. We’re heading back tonight with full photo albums, even fuller stomachs, and a busy weekend waiting for us.
